The Delores A. Brown Graduate Scholarship was established in 2017 to provide financial support to mature students. With that goal in mind, this scholarship is for a full-time or part time student seeking a graduate degree in their specific subject area.
The one thousand dollars ($1,000) will be awarded to the recipient who meets the following requirements:
- Enrolled in a college or university in Michigan seeking a graduate degree
- Submits acceptance letter or proof of enrollment from graduate school
- Submits official copy of undergraduate college transcript
- Submits current resume
- Submits two letters of reference
- Completes a short personal essay which states your goals and objectives and how they relate to your chosen major
- Interviews with the Scholarship Committee
- Completes online application
